If PLD said he would sign for 7.5 mil he would be in Montreal right now, his contract demands were higher then Suzukis contract , that was a no go for the habs .
Only mistake Kent Hughes made was trading Lekhonen; and even then Justin Barron ceiling was pretty high at that time. [I keep saying the same thing over I know, but still]
Otherwise than that, I really believe he's almost perfect.
And we still got 2 first round pick next year !~!!
It's a good time to be a habs fan; just let the players play, and develop and we're in for a good treat in 2-3 years top when it will all blend together.
