I dont blame PLD at all. Who wants to play in Columbus? Here's the fix, keep the divisions how they are, or at least an all Canadian division, then move the Jackets to Nova Scotia. Boom. Win for everyone. (except Columbus, I guess. Sorry Columbus.)

This segment was like watching the Clown News Network(CNN). These players are soft these days.
I don’t know much about the player or the details. But I’m a Rangers fan and the team here eventually got tired of him. Some people can thrive under his excellent coaching. Others cannot. And I’ll continue to wait for Torts to have his Bob Knight moment and toss a chair like object across the ice.

They conveniently forget to show the clip of why Dubois gets benched. Goes in on the forecheck and doesn't even try, lets them skate right past him. Guys a prima donna and he deserved to get benched

Watch the shift and then decide if he should go back out. He let his teammates down with that effort. PLD is my favorite player on the CBJ, but that kind of effort would get you yelled at by your teammates in a recreational league game.

Put another number one centre in his place and he how he reacts. You’ll see very quickly who the winners and losers are. Torts made sure to make the most factual comments without incriminating any of the parties involved.
“Premeditated”? This isn’t a homicide. You don’t use the first period as a warm-up and take it easy. PLD knew he was in questionable waters and decided to play that kind of shift. Look at him on the bench after. A real athlete with an actual compete level is either telling his players to do better or hangs his head down in shame. There was no frustration on his face, just another day at the icy spa.
Looks like NBC trying to put some sort of bizarre bullying spin into this situation.
