Its really a shame. I was a big Kylington fan, but after everything that went down, all respect lost. Its really too bad.
We'll never know what went on behind closed doors. Perhaps leaving was in his best mental health interest. Still stings after the outwardly facing treatment the club afforded him and his situation. It's a shame it shook out this way. I always liked the player. Just more motivation for a more complete roster reboot. Keep sending up the kids!

this is a lose lose….Oliver losses salary and term….Flames lose a potential 3/4 line D at a bargain price and short term lease. Hard to understand what was going on here.
He would have gotten more minutes in Calgary, then he will with the AVS.

Major miscalculation by Kylington and his agent. I suspect the Flames’ offer was also for only one year, but it would have been for way more than $1.05M. How to lose a ton of money and show the world that you’re a disloyal jerk in one simple step.
