Is Jack Quinn A Better Choice Over Alexander Holtz? (2020 NHL Draft Prospect Discussion)

I guarantee the hockey god’s were getting ready to set thy words in stone, “Alexander Holtz is the draft’s top shooter”. But… some kid in Ottawa named Jack Quinn (rumor has it his middle name is Luke šŸ™‚ ), this guy has been skating about freely with this shot of his. I don’t think he got it licensed much like any other good sniper would, just out of courtesy. Either way, who is this draft’s top shooter, because Quinn is really making Holtz have to earn that title.

Enjoy!

  1. Heā€™s easily a top 10 pick. I go to 67s games all the time, ridiculous how dominant he is. He has something stupid like 35g in the last 25gp. Gets better every game

  2. Should be a good first rounder but doesnā€™t play a complete hockey game. Plays really good against the buttom teams; against the top teams you canā€™t see him. Thatā€™s my opinion! I am from Ottawa and watch the 67ā€™s every home game!

  3. I watch every djurgĆ„rden game and holtz is insane. In powerplay heā€™s a beast. His shoot is like ovechkin dude!

  4. Americans have a tendency to underestimate players who isn't in the US. As was the case with Elias Pettersson for example.

Holtz have put up 3PPG in the junior elite league aswell as .5PPG in the senior elite league this year. Compared to 1.2 and 0 last year. He's improving at an alarming speed aswell and i predict that he'll average ATLEAST 1 PPG in the NHL in a couple years.

  5. I do like Quinn and have been following more 67s games since the Devils have had a few prospects there this past season, but Iā€™m taking Holtz and I donā€™t think itā€™s particularly close. Holtz has a much higher floor and could very well be a top line scorer in the NHL. His shot is nasty. Iā€™d love to see NJ land both of these guys. If that Coyotes pick comes at 10, Quinn could still be there for NJ to take.

  6. NJ should really take a look at him. We've been the scouting the 67's a ton, and scouts are comparing Quinn to Pastrnak. And scouts are also comparing Hischier to Bergeron. Hischier and Quinn on the top line seems like a perfect match.

  7. some of the best wrist strength I've ever seen and hes only 19 years old. hopefully buffalo doesn't waste him
