I’m a vocal supporter of the great work that Martin McGuire and Dany Dubé do on the French radio call. I thought I’d spend the off-season catching up on their Bon Match! podcast. It’s a great discussion show, and this December episode is particularly worth a listen, in my opinion.
They discuss:
Martin St Louis and his media eccentricities
Pascal Vincent (then with Columbus, now coaching Laval) and how his style is similar to MSL’s pedagogic approach
The apparently overhyped (according to Gally) impression of Montreal as a tough place to play; and
Martin shares a touching story about Carey Price finally realizing how appreciated he was.
Can’t recommend these guys enough! I encourage everyone to give either the podcast or their radio call a whirl!

I tried listening to them but I found it quite boring (catched the last few of the season)
Most of it was just saying the common well known stuff.
McGuire always has the first question in the scrum and they are always terrible. His hockeyIQ is pretty bad. Dubé is decent but I feel like he’s surfing on reputation at this point.

Parlant de vieux podcast j’ai écouté un vieux podcast de Dret sul tape avec Maxim Lapierre a l’époque ou il jouait en europe. David lui demande quel jeune joueur en Europe risque de jouer NHL. Il lui parle alors de Tim Stuzle qui a cette époque est un pur inconnu comme futur joueur certain dans la NHL.
