@roboto1337 No, Chara is more offensive, this guy is just a beast of a defensive defenseman. Almost impossible to beat in a puck battle in the corners, great in front of the net (how can he not be?) Gets mean, great in 1 on 1 situations. He won't get 10-20 goals a year but he'll be a reeeally solid shut down guy. He's like a bigger, tougher, better fighting, much much much much…much better Mike Komisarek type.
As a Habs fan, I think I like this pick. But, also…again, as a Habs fan…I have just two words that all other Habs fans should be wary of…"Brad Brown". Very similar type of guy. I hope I'm wrong but they seem like they have a very similar style and Brad Brown amounted to NOTHING as an NHLer.
