2 seasons?? He’s got Fowler as one of the Habs goalies when he’s 21? I mean, maybe? He’s a hell of a goaltender so I wouldn’t rule him out. But that still feels insanely young for him to be an impactful goalie at the NHL level, i’m not sure that I would be making 2 years my expectation for him at this point.

Primeau can/will be UFA in 2026 but his contract end after this year so I guess it depends if he gets extended 1 or more year after this season
My guess would be a 2 years extension so 3 years before we see Fowler as backup if he does good in AHL for 1-2 years
