The T-Birds defeated the Kamloops Blazers 4-1 in the home opener on Saturday, September 21, at accesso ShoWare Center. Jared Davidson, Andrej Kukuca, Alex Morozoff and Payton Mount scored the T-Birds. Roddy Ross made a career high 50 save in the win. Zane Franklin scored for the Blazers and Dylan Garand had 30 saves.
