Remember children the C was never designed to go to your best player it was meant to go to your heart & soul of the team your true leader. The skills are just a side bonus. Mcd a better player barky a better captain. Take the 1994 canucks. Bure was by far our best player 60 goal seasons but linden wore the C cuz he was a motivational hard working grinder and rarely ever made a defensive mistake he could and did hit hard, oh and he wasnt a terrible goal scorer during his captaincy. Barky is the same.

It was irritating how EVERYONE was like MOMENTUM US WITH THE OILERS after 8-1 win completely ignoring that they were humbled and in an impossible situation no team except one came back 0-3 in finals 82 years ago JUST BECAUSE the youtubers needed some content to create. If they had a brain theyd know the oilers had no chance after game 3 I even said right after game 4: IF the oilers win game 5&6 by an 8-0 score the panthers are still winning game 7. It was sad to see canada lose but fun to say i told u so to all the youtubers and comment section. For those who dont believe its on my discord channel date time stamped
