Hobby Knowledge, Experience, Insights & Adaptability | Wayne Wagner | SCL #236

We sit down with Wayne Wagner of Wayne’s Sports Cards & Collectibles, which is perhaps Canada’s most respected LCS after 35 years of business, industry professionalism and leadership, to discuss witnessing athlete signings for Upper Deck, the importance to the hobby of Connor McDavid eventually winning the Stanley Cup, how the hobby has evolved through his eyes over the last few decades and his thoughts on the direction it is going, whether he is a collector himself, the exclusive license era, breaking, his gripes with the hobby, grading, x-rays, setting up at card shows and more, so join us live and bring your questions and comments as they will be in play.

Leighton Sheldon of Just Collect and Vintage Breaks joins for the “Vintage Spotlight” segment!

  1. Questions

so which trade by the owners hurt their team the most Babe Ruth going from Boston to New York or Wayne Gretzky going from Edmonton to La?

seeing team rivals in area's is not uncommon example Yankees fans walking around Boston and Red Sox fans walking around New York

with Hockey we see Flyers fans walking around New York and Rangers fans walking around Philadelphia!!! it would be strange seeing Brewers fans out here in lower state New York like Avalanche fans walking around your area.

so of Rivals you said Calgary Edmonton is number 3?
these are the ones on my head

    Detroit vs Toronto

    Philadelphia Vs New York R

    Boston vs Montreal

    Toronto Vs Montreal

    Calgary vs Edmonton

now looking at these now that we see it on the computer what place do you put the Calgary Edmonton?

so at the Westchester County center there having the east coast National!!! from what I heard the Fanatics show yours cost 58.00 in change to get into plus parking for the people driving from the suburbs , plus lunch for a family this is expensive do you think there will be alot of collectors?
the East coast National cost 15.00 to get in plus parking and Lunch.
