  1. Thanks again Patrick for the update, in the dog days of summer I try to keep up with Oilers news but sometimes I miss it. Thanks again man

  2. Was made clear last season that the type of injury Kane has, could only be corrected by surgery. Don't know why this is even being talked about.

  3. I would like to see Kane and ceci traded. I think the Oilers have enough talent to cover the loss of both players also with cap space they can go with someone a little more reliable than Kane as well

  4. Kane when healthy is an impactful forward. The worst thing that he and the Oilers could do is to have him play half-injured all season, so surgery with a full recovery would be best. The biggest, and only real boat anchor that holds back the Oilers is the Nurse contract.

  5. This is tough cap situation for the oilers, they would preferably not have stretcher or brown as a 3rd pairing defencman

  6. People sending hate messages should be put in the penalty box by YouTube. Keyboard warriors living in their momā€™s basement. Thanks for the update. A move or two are going to have to be made to be capable of compliant. Thanks for the update.

  7. Seems like Kane and the Oilers are on very different pages regarding his health. Last year when he tried to play through that "slump" that turned out to be an injury, he got almost no rest and only admitted at the end of the year that he had a hernia. It makes no sense for the Oilers to let him play if they knew his actual physical condition. It's likely he wasn't being fully honest with the team doctors so that he could keep playing. If that's what happened, the Oilers have to be aware of it by now, and they can't let it happen again. So if Kane is saying he's going to be ready to go, and the Oilers don't agree, I don't think Kane gets his way on this one.

  8. This dilemma is All Darnell Nurse's fault, he's basically an overpaid hindrance and lets the team down when they need him most šŸ˜®, real funny how he was able to play error free hockey šŸ’ when he sought his $9 million per deal and turned into a tire fire šŸ”„ as soon as he signed it
