  1. From trade rumor that red wings look at trying to aquire F Mitchell Marner from leafs for C/LW Michael Rasmussen and one time cup champ with Avalanche LW/RW J.T Compher and picks if true or not we will

  2. Nick played like his father when he came too toronto fans would of love him he kind came in damage good luved mike folino his father lots of heart fans players love him ,remember when mike folino broke his leg in the hospital the whole team came too visit him in the hospital was loved gave his all .😊

  3. I was very happy when Nick Foligno was acquired from Columbus at the trade deadline, because he was exactly the type of player the team needed. The Leafs did pay a great deal for Foligno, and if he were healthy in the playoffs I would have been fine with the deal. But him being injured and not contributing to their run signifcantly soured me on Dubas. I wonder to this day if Foligno was fully healthy or was dealing with injury issues that were glossed over to enable the trade. He seemed to get injured awfully easily when Toronto got him, and that seemed suspicious to me. Injuries do happen but I seem to remember Foligno being out with injuries for much of that season in Columbus.

Dubas had no issue with trading away 1st and 2nd round picks to go "all in" for the current year, and we're paying the price for that lack of long-term team building vision now. The only thing of note I remember Foligno doing during that run was fighting Corey Perry for taking out Tavares, and that was an accident so that fight shouldn't have happened.

  4. Foligno probably was offered a bigger salary from Boston than what Toronto was offering. Careers are short and players have to maximize their earnings.
Foligno, O'Reilly, Reeves are all bandages to the Leafs' toughness issue. Berube has a whole year to make every member of the team play hard physical hockey. Being tough is not beating up people in a fight but always competing for the puck, sticking up for each other and playing like it is your last game. Injecting a player doesn't create toughness.

  5. Foligno trade was a huge huge L for Leafs as they gave up too much for Foligno who is overrated and didn’t do anything. Huge Dubas typical L

  6. The guy was disappointed in himself, and demented Leafs fan rail on him. Sounds about right..

  7. People have forgotten, he forced Corey Perry to atone for the hit on Tavares by fighting him. He also signed in Boston because his child who was very sick was going to be treated in Boston hospital. He did it for family.

  8. He played a few games in playoffs but was still hurt . It would’ve been interesting if he was fully healthy , that was the plan for getting him . A power forward who can score and hit and fight
