“This isn’t a rebuild, I don’t want to hear them say that again”… meanwhile they are literally the second youngest team in the league if the season started today behind buffalo at 26.1 average age. So yeah, it is a rebuild.

Flyers could still trade his ass during the course of this season before the trade deadline since the new contract starts next year. The six year NTC is a killer.
I feel like everyone keeps looking at this wrong. TK didn't get overpaid. Sam Reinhart got underpaid massively. Why the hell is a 50+ goal scorer taking less than $10 mil/yr?

I get people questioning if we’re really rebuilding or not, but keep in mind we have 3 first round picks next year. How many non rebuilding teams have had that?
Anthony is consistently arrogant in his statements as fact, yet consistently wrong and lies after the fact. 1) claimed TK was getting 10.5/yr then says he said 9.2, 2) claimed Cutter wasn’t at Dev Camp because of an eligibility issue as fact. Makes you really wonder about the veracity of his claims about Kevin Hayes. He lies a lot
I like tk, but that's too much term, a very slight over pay, I think trading him was smarter for the franchise, but I think this can indicate to the authentics that this isn't actually a rebuild, it was indeed a retool, and back to tk, if all you can say is, well the cap will continue growing, then it wasn't a good idea

TK is cut from the right cloth and has the dog in em. Reinhart comp isnt a thing, he took less – apples oranges. Also too many ppl focus on the number, they need to focus on cap percentage — thats what matters. 8 m's will be 3rd line money in 8 years. this wont be an anchor. i like it
