Last season was a prime opportunity for both Tomasino, and Parssinen to get a full season under their belt. Instead we wasted the opportunity by putting short term pieces like McCaron, and Beauvillier in those spots. If you drafted players 5 years ago, you should know what you have, or be able to say you gave said prospect every chance at success. Putting Tomasino with slow grinders is not giving him a fair shake. The Preds struck out in the '15, '16, and '17 drafts. They also appear to have squandered their 11th overall in '20. This issue of lacking elite young talent isn't going away.
