Moritz Seider’s all round defensive game has been very very impressive in his first three NHL seasons with the Detroit Red Wings. Seider has been Detroit’s best defenseman in all three seasons. Seider plays like a 10 year NHL veteran defenseman at such a young age. His shot blocking, gap control, hits, and break out passes are incredible. I predict that Moritz Seider will win a Norris Trophy within the next three seasons.

8/8.5 mil would be extremely low in my opinion. I think 9.5 mil is likely 10 on the high end. I also think that this is what is holding up the new deal.
