ok, first. Sorokin was why we made the playoffs. Lets not forget that. Yes, he had a bit of a bad run last season. But playing every game for months, takes its toll. second. I see the Isles doin better in points. But I dont see them making 100 or more. I think it's gonna be another, we Just squeak into the playoffs by a point or 2 again. Everybody else around us, again, got better this off season. And we are just stagnate, as always. I feel, we didnt move the bar at all. Lateral moves at best. And Duclair is not our savior. He'll help us. But not enough to move the bar.
I think 90 points is about right, more because other teams in the East have gotten better. The Islanders aren’t getting any younger and the addition of Duclair isn’t going to move the needle much. I’d expect Nelson and Palmieri’s numbers to regress a bit fom last season with Duclair picking up some of that slack. Until Sorokin can show he’s back mentally, he’s still not a guarantee either.

Isles always get disrespected in every ranking or list. It's nothing new.
