Who would have thought, but a newsy week in the wake of the Olympics as Blake and Jeff Paterson get down to the offer sheet news in the NHL, with the Blue rocking the boat. The guys get into what the choices are for the Oilers, what it might indirectly mean for the Canucks, and whether there wouuld ever be interest in these moves from the Canucks front office. Then they jump into the big CFL news as the Lions officially welciome back Nathan Rourke from his NFL journey, and where this puts BC in its hunt for a Grey Cup this season. Oilers Nation’s Tyler Yaremchuk drops by to talk about the reaction from the Oilers fanbase after the 2 offer sheets come in from the Blues. He goes over the various scenarios the Oilers could be thinking about and what that fallout woould be to accepting and declining to match. The Daily Hive’s Rob Williams chimes in on the possibility of Canucks fans FOMO around offer sheets, or whether it’s too risky to live in that world, given the Canucks have some young players coming in soon. There will be more offer sheets down the road. This is a players dream. It opens up the pay for alot of players. Teams will adjust as times goes on.
You obviously keep vernon Adam's..do ppl not remember rourke getting injured.
If you're a respected GM with a good working relationship with other GMs around the league, this probably doesn't happen to you. Armstrong wouldn't have done this to Holland if he was still there, instead of the pariah GM they hired, after capping themselves out. They couldn't have done this without Dubas helping the Blues get their compensation pick back either.

Oilers caught lowballing. Player memory is short though and they will continue to gravitate towards a team with playoff success.Little damage done obviously,there is nothing much to talk about right now is all.
