  1. Trading Marner now is pointless since his trade value is lower than what it can be. Let Oct and Nov play out….let Marner prove his worth, if he plays lights out and they get a good return on a trade….then bye bye Mitch.

  2. Class act by Tavares! He’s not a dumb guy and im sure he knew that the time to pass it over was near.

  3. How can Matthews grow? HOW can he grow?!! He can do what the best players in history do: You put the team on your back for a change when it actually counts son! Not just show up, and score a few goals. You do what Curtis Joseph, Doug Gilmour, Wendel Clark, Darryl Sittler, Dave Keon, Johnny Bower and Terry Sawchuck, Teeder Kennedy, and Syl Apps did. IF Matthews himself wants to be mentioned with those names in 50 years

  4. Goals for Leafs if The Management had guts
    Sign Prince Igor
Trade Riely * we play good without him. 46-20-7
Sign Marner for 8 milli or under. Or trade with Dubas for Crosby lol
Tavares for under 4 million. He is a slow 3C
Find guys on the buyout market and guys willing to take a deal to wear the Jersey.

  5. JT wants to be a leaf beyond 2025 and this was a requirement for him to do that – this shouldn’t be lost as part of the story

  6. OH look the C was handed from one soft player to another soft player who scores more goals..just not when it counts. Stanley cup will be the leafs now ,,,,I’m sure of it
