I created this video to show that Moritz Seider’s offensive ability is very underrated. Seider does not get enough recognition for having at least 40 points in his first three NHL seasons. He also does not sacrifice defense to get more offense. This is why Seider deserves a long term contract with the Detroit Red Wings. I predict that Moritz Seider will get 60 points this upcoming 2024-2025 NHL season with the Detroit Red Wings.

Seider is thriving, despite being thrust into roles where he is doing the heavy lifting defensively, and has played top pairing minutes his whole career. The man is a machine. I've been in love with his game since he played for Rögle BK during COVID. So very happy he is a Red Wing.

40 years from now, I hope there is an award called the Moritz Seider award, which will be awarded to the defenseman with the most shot blocks in a season.
I think he gets the same contract as Fabre. 8×8.5
if seider this year has a 65 point season and 200 blocks 200 assists.. theirs no way he can’t win the norris. i mean if he don’t win they what tf is a norris trophy might as well just have the norris for most points..
I kinda like the idea of the Norris be a Defensive Dman award and another award for a 2 way-dman, kind of like the Selke but for dman.
Its recency bias. He played more minutes against top lines in the NHL than any other defensemen in the league so he got very little power play time last year because he litterally was carrying the entire D core last season. 1st D man in a decade to have 200 hits and 200+ blocked shots in a season. question will be how far into the season until seider and edvinson are put together. Im giving it until december.

NHL fans disrespect our great talent and depth and brilliant performances and always top teams over us like buffalo and Ottawa when they havent improved 💩it’s so pathetic 😂😂.
Redwings have been the most consistent rebuilding team since we’ve been rebuilding cause every year we get better and im expecting playoffs this year.Buffalo and Ottawa keep falling back and then have one good year then be in the basement again they suck.
He hasn't done it much of late, but Seider's hits need to be shown to all young defenseman. They are all clean, solid hits that allow him to make impact on the play while also defending himself & not taking a penalty. Amazing player. One of my favorite Wings ever
