Is this Crosby signature real?

Found this at a local thrift store, is it the real thing?

No unless Crosby was extremely intoxicated and using his wrong hand to sign the stick.

Looks like his cousins autograph, Sloppy Crosby

Nope. Wishing you the best on not taking an L.

Oh come on. That’s worse than 12 year old me trying to forge my mom’s signature on my report card.

I can do a better Crosby Sig with my left foot

It definitely looks fake, but signing hockey tape can kinda end up making your signature look different (I’ve done it a few times), I still think it’s most likely fake but it’s not impossible it’s real

It’s not i*mpossible* but this looks like some kid was trying to copy it to me.

Especially from the “S” to the “id” there’s no flow to it, and the spacing overall is off. You’d expect to see characters/lines overlapping much more on a genuine signature.

Writing over a taped blade isn’t the easiest thing and that’s the only part that gives this a shred of a chance at being legit, but it’s a very, very, very slim chance

  8. I have a legit one. That’s like textbook autograph copying.. not legit

    Where’s the “joke” tag?

This is quite obviously fake. Not even a good forging attempt!
