  1. Sam Rosen is seriously one of the best announcers in the league. Glad to see you covering it and will sorely miss his commentary on hockey games

  2. Just isn’t right, it’s not rangers hockey without sam. Every time I’m at a game, my friends and I find the video of the goal just to hear Sams call. All love he deserves this retirement.

  3. i have only one question: did yvonne manage to save her ears on the waterfall ride or did her ears end up in the drink ??

  4. I’ll miss seeing Getzlaf working with the ducks youth but best of luck with the next stage of his career.

  5. Congrats to Ryan getslaf. Honestly people get confused by rule benders getting in on dops department. I’m for it, these are the players who’s knew the rules and looked to bend them in their favor.

As a sharks fan I’m for Ryan joining the group. Of top end talents he was great at bending the rules to favor him most nights. Players like this have experience with the rules now and how they affect the game. How they can be manipulated to a players benefit there able to see how players will use new rules.

  6. Sam Rosen has been the literal voice of the Rangers for my entire life. Absolute broadcast legend. To use a term that's well below my age range.. he's the GOAT.

  7. Marv was always 1, Sam was 2.
Call it 1A and 1B if you like.
It's like comparing Orr and Brad Park.
Note to Sam: I will NOT miss your "It's a POWER PLAY GOAL!"
    1) Counts the SAME as any goal.
    2) All metrics indicate ESG is a better indicator of how a team is playing than PPG.
    3) No big deal. I almost never watch NYR any more.
    Have a good retirement.
    Get out of NYC!
    👍🥸

  8. Logan brown signed a pto with Tampa last year they didn’t sign him because he’s been injured the whole season

  9. The consensus among most Oilers fans is, match Holloway, let Broberg go to St Louis for the draft picks. Tyson Barrie and Justin Schultz (former Oilers defencemen who are still on good terms with some of the Oilers players) are still available on the Free Agent market, willing to take less money for a chance to play on a Cup contender. Which the Oilers can be with the right moves. Broberg has been wanting out of Edmonton for at least the past year, and a spot on the Blues roster may open up for him with Krug maybe starting the season on the IR.

  10. I’m hoping Vrana can get right and play to his potential with the Caps. He had such an upside here before getting in Laviolette’s doghouse. Caps haven’t had a great track record with players in the players assistance program lately but it would be great if Jake the Snake could be a success.

  11. Is first thing on Getzlafs list to suspend Perry? Does Vrana just want to retire a Cap? Matthews? C? Big scorer but leader? Leafs" Hey lets get the guy that has disorderly in az, Bruins series lost when he was in and won when he was out guy and slap a C on him

  12. They keep adding goons and rats to the DoPS and wonder why more and more people decide not to get their kids involved in hockey.

  13. Vrana was a 2018 Cup winner with Washington. Could be a great reclamation prospect considering he probably has some chemistry with Ovechkin, Carlson and Wilson.

  14. Watching my favorite team isn't going to be the same without Sam Rosen. Kenny Albert will probably step in and he is fine, but man those are big shoes to fill. Sam is a living legend.

  15. Rosen was almost as big a homer as Jack Edwards, but much more entertaining. I loved the combination of Rosen with John Davidson back in the day. As good as the Gary Thorne/Peter McNabb or Doc Emerick/Chico Resch combos (yes, Devils fan…sue me).

I've just gotten nostalgic for Jiggs MacDonald for some reason….

  16. Vrana said that AHL is not an option for him. If he not sign NHL he is heading to play in the Czech league.

  17. Someone needs to sucker punch Parros right out of the DPoS. That guy is a big problem for the league. Bennett's sucker punch in the playoffs going without discipline was pathetic.
