I love sharing my barely coherent opinions!
I felt very strong that the team will be on the upswing moreso than the expectation. I don’t think they will make the playoffs. That said, I think there’s always a chance they could. There’s always some weird shit that goes on with teams and seasons.
I think they will get closer (probably 4th/5th in the division), and miss out by 5-7 points. My main impression is the team is closing in on its better prospects making the team. They already have Rossi and Faber making waves. This year could be Ohgren and Khusnutdinov. Heidt and Yurov could be outside shots.
I am in the “things are probably going to fine if we wait out the rough stuff,” and 25-26 was always the goal.
I think this season we’ll bounce back and at least make the playoffs
Last season we just caught the injury bug real bad early on and we just couldn’t recover
To think that this year is finally the last one of the cap hell from the buyouts; after that’s said and done we’ll have a lot more wiggle room to do what we really haven’t before with that weight on us
I feel strongly that until the buyout penalties are (nearly) gone in the ’25-26 season, we are just going to tread water. Anything is in play this time next year.
