How are they going to resign them when they were in the AHL? At the end of the day, both players chose to sign the offer sheet. If they lose these players, big deal. They were not a huge loss. Holloway was a 3rd line player and wouldn't make it in the top 6 next season because of the depth. Even with injuries, they have Savoie for a call-up. Broberg has never played a full season in the NHL for him to get that much money. Plus, he wanted out. I say, let them go and use the picks for an upcoming trade. The Oilers are in win now mode. They'll not wait for a player to develop that long
If Holland was still there this doesn’t happen, stop blaming him, oilers should of dealt with this before signing Perry , lol 😂, like cmon , always easy to blame the guy who isn’t there, I bet if Drai leaves everyone would say, well he cost us the cup for not checking Reinhart, easy to blame people who are not in the organization, No one says great 👍 job Chiarelli on signing Drai last contract ??? You're never going to stop older free agents from wanting to sign with a top Cup contender. When you aggressively punish teams that overextend on salary, you fix the issue on the other end by making these teams afraid to sign guys like Skinner and Henrique.
What about the current GM? I don't see why you're blaming holland. He almost won you a cup. Elliot Friedman reported that broberg and Holloway wanted 1.8 and 1.2 million. That's what was offered to Stan Bowman according to Elliot Friedman, and yet nothing was done. What has Stan Bowman been doing these last few weeks? Blaming holland is absurd.
Maybe Broberg and Holloway were smart enough to NOT sign anything with the Oilers yet, knowing full well that this could happen. It's not like Holland can force them to sign anything. 4 mins over for Broberg? Holland isn't the coach either.

I think it wasn’t only hollands fault!…I think it got forgotten about because Jeff Jackson had to much to do !
