First? I'm pretty sure
Third. Muahahaha!
juolevi will be a solid 3rd pairing or decent second pairing. Hes still young, decent size and has a solid first pass.
Yes.
Dude has the potential to be average, good, or even great. All depends on if he can play and stay healthy. I'm thinking probably not, but I'm hopeful.
Hes ready. 3 or 4th pairing maybe even 2b potential. He is a very good defender.
No mention of Rafferty?
Doesn’t hoglander play LW? and Podkolzin play RW? Idk why these guys are saying Hoglander takes toffolis spot on the RW, maybe he takes Pearsons roll if hes doing really well but at best I see is 3rd line with gaudette
he has mcavoy potention. maybe even better. he was a good pick. and now we watch and see.
Would be nice to see something along the lines of this next year:
Hughes-Schmidt
Edler-Rafferty/Chatfield
Juolevi-Myers
Benn (can slot in on either side whenever there's an injury)
Rathbone's a left shot defenseman, so he'll probably see at least a year in the AHL. When Edler's contract is up, if he doesn't re-sign with the team, we might see Rathbone jump up into the Top 6 or who knows, maybe Jurmo might get a chance as well, depending on his development. It's not a super deep pool on D, but there are some good pieces that are developing. Woo could even come up too and Brisebois could take over the 7th d-man role when Benn's contract is up. There are some options, for sure, and it's probably about time the younger players get a chance to take over.
1:20 guy speaking is everything overly toxic about sports media, blown out of proportion bullshit. Vancouver media is the worst, the chased matt cook out of town because he wasn't a skilled enough fighter which means nothing, made a circus of luongo/Schneider that they both left town, and chased joe Smith out of the bc lions because he didn't go to a funeral for a man he never met bobby Ackles.
I see OJ being an upgrade over Fantenberg/Benn of last year, but expect him to struggle as a top 4 when the inevitable injury parade begins.
Hughes-Schmidt
Edler-Myers
OJ-Rathborne
Canucks D-pairings next season:
Hughes-Schmidt
Edler-Myers
Juolevi-Benn
Come on Hogs, we need another Calder finalist!
Hoglander by far has the best opportunity to make an immediate impact.
Biggest impact on the salary cap goes to loui eriksson
So when does the Season start ? And is it going to be the all Canadian division?
Hughes Schmidt
Edler Rafferty
Rathbone Myers
Thats how I see it at the season opener
Höglander
