Much better off with Hertl guys . Keep in mind he was recovering from injury that takes 4- 6 months to be 100% .
Neither guys. Chandler over 5 Million is overpaid. And Hertl is so slow and there is an injury prone situation and he’s from the Sharks.

I just wanted to say that I enjoy this show and both of you guys, even if we don’t agree. The world would be pretty boring if all everyone did was agree on everything!
Unlike Tony, I’m with CG and stoked to venture into the unknown and see if Holtz may produce with more minutes than in N.J., will Pavel take that next step up, will Jack and Ollie have chemistry, is Hertl still a threat and will Stoney avoid LTIR????!!!
The problem is we traded for someone that we don't know what we are getting. If it's prime Hertal, then he is a good pickup better than Stevenson. However, I think we could have found a cheaper replacement for Stevenson. Stevenson not worth that contract. Big risk with Hertal, but possibe big reward.
Both Hertl and Stevenson began their careers on teams loaded with iconic players. Hertl contributed quickly. Stevenson found his game here. But both probably benefited from such high quality locker rooms.
I will wait and see what Hertal does after a whole season before I make any judgement.
