  1. Hi, Josh, Jesse, and Friends!

I’ve never heard of Nick Robertson until just now. I’ll look into him after this. I don’t want to give the Leafs anything. lol!

Now, Dawson Mercer, is a totally different thing. I’d rather have him over Liane anytime. I’m not a big fan of Laine’s. The big thing I’m concerned about Mercer’s +/- over the three years in NJ. He went from a -25 first year, +22 the second year, and a -26 last year. That’s quite a huge back and forth. Who knows. Lol

It would be amazing & so exciting to watch Monty play in the 4 Nations Cup. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻

  2. Dawson Mercer would be a great pickup and so would Nick Robinson and Kirby dach all on the 2nd line leaving newhook the 3c we would rock the league

  3. i would absolutely LOVE mercer on our team, not only is the kid great, but then montreal got BOTH newfies on their team!

  4. Hi guys! Unless we move 1 or 2 of Dvorak, Anderson, Armia or Gally we should not go out and get anyone. We know our top 6 for the future are pretty much set now that we have Demidov in our stable. Just let the young guys play this year, determine which will fill our bottom 6 and which can be traded for the key pieces still missing in Demidov's 2nd season. From then on we are contenders and not getting a lottery pick. This is our last year to possibly get a top 10 pick. 28 days till MTL vs TOR prospects, Go Habs Go!

  5. Montreal will not make big moves unless it is a long term player (young) and/or they ALMOST reach the playoffs. There is no point wasting picks and cap until there team shows it can make the playoffs. With the recent master move by the Blues, we've seen what happens to teams who have zero cap space to maneuver.

As far as Montembeault and Primeau are concerned, Monty is the starter, BUT this season, whoever of them racks in the win will start more often. Basically, let Monty and Primeau have a rivalry, whoever racks in the win, gets the starts.

  6. NOBODY considered Hil to be a good goalie but gets on a good team and it makes him look better than he really is.I like Robertson but I am not giving up draft picks.Robertson does not play small that is the difference.Set our sites higher lmao we gave up a first and second for Newhook who has yet to prove he is more than a 3rd line player.
I don't think Mercer and his agent want to accept less than 5 mil and that is all NJ has.So NJ might be looking to move someone else so they can sign Mercer.I would be very careful of mercer if they want too much money he has not proven more than 5 mil so there is a fine line to cross there and likely why NJ can't sign him.

  7. Montys is not going to the nations cup he sucks, make the trade for Askarov. Get a goalie to who is good and deserves a shot as a starter cause monty nor primeau is capable…. And if Askarov doesn’t pan out fowler is still in the pipeline to me it’s a no brainer.

  8. Mercer absolutely but Robertson is a midget wtf do we want him we’ve got Farrell who probably won’t make it and he’s a clone of him.

  9. I didn't think of Mercer! Yeah, another guy who can score 20 that the Habs should sign, we need at least one winger that Dach can pass to and establish a chemistry with, I think at his best Dach will be a 20-25 goals guy but 50-60 assists easy too, so he needs dudes who can put it in. Mercer joins the convo with the free agents who can score 20 goals at least that are wingers the Habs desperately need, being stacked on all other positions….he joins Pacioretty, JVR and especially Tyler Johnson in the patch of wingers who can score 20 and likely more if paired with Dach and Roy, a veteran who's proven isn't a bad idea since the only veteran forwards we have are borderline dead wood (Gallagher, Anderson, Dvorak…very sorry Dvorak's career never panned out the way his OHL stats made it look like he was going to be, a lot of injuries since singing with MTL, of course, he wasn't touched that much in the record breaking 21-22 and then again in 22-23, but he had to get a season ending injury sometime last season, it's become a rite of passage with the Habs now 😆 except for our one man of steel Suzuki.
