The Rock is a very nice arena, but the Meadowlands will always be the Devils’ home to me. Nothing can replace the feeling of walking across that bridge in the parking lot and feeling it buzz with the chants of hundreds of fans.

I wouldn’t have believed it until I saw THREE people rollerblading.

Those were the days. I remember them fondly! The walks through the tunnel were the best. I know it’s the past, but seeing all of those banners and retired numbers hanging and it’s still a relatively young franchise brings me pride. I hope this current group gets back there!

If/when we celebrate again, bring it to the meadowlands. More room anyway

That arena was so good. The concourses were too narrow/small and it needed some love, but I’m really surprised they didn’t renovate. I guess the owners were interested in owning their own arena to rake in the concert revenues, etc
