Corey Perry Reaches Out To Bat Away Puck With Hand Inches From The Goal Line



Watch as Tampa Bay Lightning forward Corey Perry reaches out to swipe away a loose puck inches away from the goal line after a shot by New York Rangers’ Tyler Motte trickled through the legs of Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy.

  2. I thought that was a penalty shot. Literally watched that call against the avs a few years back. Only the goalie is allowed to touch the puck with his gloves in the crease

Corey Perry was at the right place at the right time before the New York Rangers were at the right place at the right time to put the loose puck into the net to make the game a two goal lead for themselves and luckily Andrei Vasilevskiy didn't knock it into the net after the first initial save, after the puck had leaked through him and his pads that could've ended up into the net but didn't. And Corey Perry's saving grace saved a goal for his team.
