From a fantasy perspective, there is plenty to like about Juraj Slafkovsky, particularly in BASH formats where the 2022 1st overall pick averaged just shy of two hits per contest last season. In terms of deployment, fantasy GMs couldn’t have asked for better in the second half of last year. Slafkovsky averaged 19:16 TOI, 3:22 PPTOI (74.4% PP Share) and played at a 29-goal, 66-point pace through 46 contests.
I expect to see similar deployment in 2024-2025, resulting in a similar projection over a full-season. The only concern at this point is his shot rate, which finished last season at a pedestrian 6.2 SOG/60.
