I know a lot of people don’t like FSG and admittingly I don’t like how infatuated they are with Sullivan but this is a good example of them investing into the org. Front office hasn’t been very big and we needed the analytics department to be filled out. I’m 32 years old so I remember as a kid when all of our FO, scouting, etc was barren.
The Erlichman hire is very interesting. He’s been a big reason why the Rays — normally a team with a small payroll — is able to be competitive.

Nice and much needed expansion. Rutherford’s biggest weakness was whittling down the front office until it was just him. Erlichman could be a really cool hire and it’s nice to see Spezza and Kessel keep expanding their roles.
