it doesn’t seem like Alexei Kolosov wants to play for the Flyers organization, specifically in the AHL for the Phantoms. Whatever his motives are, reports have Kolosov attempting to stay in the KHL for (at least) another year. Maybe this is a coincidence, but coming on the heels of the Cutter Gauthier incident, Charlie & Bill debate why the Flyers are having trouble holding onto some of the team’s top prospects.

not pissed. Really couldn't care less. They draft these guys all over the NHL too young. And then they pick the high maintenance guys. Can't speak the language, way young. Gauthier probably more a richy rich arrogant kid but you get my point, Nobody seems to like playing in lehigh, don't blame 'em. Draft smarter

It seems like the Kolosov and Gauthier situations are linked by this – both players wanted to play primary roles immediately, and when told they had to earn their spot, they threw fits. If there was something problematic about the organization it would have come out in some way by now.
