  1. I'm a doubting Thomas. Shoulder injury, rehab, highest salary on the Habs and wanted to be traded? Sheesh! Let me see if he can score 35+ this year. Only then will I believe. More likely he gets injured again and sees limited playing time.

  2. wow the canadiens completely won that trade plus they can draft a defenseman ( if necessary) of same caliber with that 2nd round pick plus you potentially have a 40 goals scorer of course if healthy W and wtf colombus?

  3. Not sure if I'm more exited about this trade or about Junkie's continuous and hilarious descriptions of Habs news! As a Quebecer who lived in Gander for a year, listening to this channel is music to my ears. I'll admit, I'm so confident of the content that I even press the thumbs up before the video starts, lol. But as for Laine, I think the current management and young optimistic team will do wonder for Laine! Welcome to Mtl, poutine is on me!!!

  4. I'm pumped, Harris had to go anyway, so to get a 2nd round pick was already a win.
    I predict Lanine scores 30 + 🔥

  5. His talent has always been there, much like the aggressive nature of the end of you sentence structure on your videos are on the regular, then 39-41 for 80 isn’t out of the question.
If he is half as good this season as these videos

  6. Dach,Slaf, and Laine, 😂just try and move us in front of the net, God Damm Mountain Men,O Yes , And Skilled.GHG.

  7. Not gonna lie , that Gorton/Hughes tandem is totally blowing me away. Haven't seen Habs management being so competent for a loooonnnggggg time. The pieces are falling together so strap on your seatbelts cuz we're gonna have a wild ride. Cup # 25 is on the horizon ….max 3 yrs. Go Habs Go!!!! I watched the Laine interview and he is exuding confidence and self assurance. Happy for him and happy for Habs fans.

  8. He's a big young kid who can put the puck in the net. a very good trade in my opinion, the Habs even got a 2nd round pick!

  9. Columbus is laughing. They get a good young defensemen in return for dumping 8.7 million a year and the Canadians pick up a lazy streaky player. He couldn't handle the pressure in Winnipeg, how the hell can he do it in Montreal? That massive cap hit could have been spent far wiser then this. But when he is likely a half a point/game maybe a little more by Christmas and also a -11 or worse maybe Canadians fans will finally wake up to reality.

  10. They should have run in the other direction… I hope I'm very wrong, but Laine has disappointed wherever he's played. This is Hughes' and Gorton's first misstep, IMO.

  11. From far away the Habs look like they are in a similar position as the jets were when he was drafted. A handful of forgotten vets and some young bucks who have yet to show their full potential, of course Montreal doesn’t have the same negatives as Winnipeg once did. Those being the toxic dressing room and depressing city. I’m really hoping to see this guy succeed. I remember a time where us jets fans were almost sure that we had gotten lucky by drafting liane instead of Matthew’s. It’s gotta be hard sitting in the shadow of the superstar you were drafted behind. And for that, I’m gonna scoop him up in fantasy a round or two earlier than what would be expected.

  12. i trust the habs for doing this move even though i think that a 26 year old guy going on his 3rd team is a red flag !!!! anyway its for only 2 years and with demidov coming this will somewhat appease the winners of the rebuild ! if this works out it will have been a major steal of a trade ! but im not convinced !

  13. My only concern is logjam at LW position. Caufield and Demidov are also LW. How is that gonna work now

  14. If he can do 20-25 goals and around 30 assists, I’d be more than happy. We can prob sign him in two years for around 6-6.5

  15. Laine will be a GREAT FIT ! Montreal plays the perfect system for his style. Montreal is very European and Laine will love it ! I predict an okay first season and then 50 goals in season two. This is BIG

  16. I was hesitant about getting Laine for the Habs, but (salary cap aside), was a great deal. Sad to see Harris go, but this may open a spot for Hutson or someone else. Hopefully, Laine can return to game shape and help the team. 👍

  17. In which game did Martin St. Louis shake his head that you use in the videos? I'd really like to see what led to that

  18. I'm not leaving you a like because of the Habs or Laine, im not a Habs fan, but im a Devils fan. I'm leaving you a like because of you good sir👍 always entertaining and always informative.
