  1. There was no room for Podz, who had ample opportunity here to further his Career but lacked the intangibles. With the likes of Heinen Sherwood and Hoglander becoming a mainstay, easy decision.

  2. TSN made my blood boil on Saturday night. The Elks sent two players to the hospital on tackles that didn't draw penalties; the first, an obvious horse collar, the second, a spear, helmet to helmet, on a quarterback who was already on his way down and being held in a vulnerable position. Okay, calls get blown, and you can argue about them. But, TSN had acres of time to discuss the first incident, and somehow neglected to bring up the nature of the tackle itself. At half-time, they didn't even mention the play that concussed the quarterback. I don't blame the panel. It's obvious that corporate media don't want to damage their product. They apparently think that we're a bunch of fools who won't notice. It would be nice if non-corporate media made mention of this sort of thing.

  3. I think we should just let management cook. I would assume there's there's something in the works as the trade doesn't make a ton of sense otherwise. Frees up a Mil and adds a draft pick to put towards another player / asset.

  4. Podzy most certainly was a bust as he had many opportunities to shine ✨ but never seized the moment.

  5. What a head scratcher of a trade. Helping the Oilers was not on my off-season priorities list…. lol
