When the entire NHL thinks you’re WASHED

Brock Boeser seemed like he was on his way out of Vancouver for the majority of the last 2 seasons. But he’s now one of the most important players for the Canucks. I analyze how this has happened in this video.

Thanks for watching!

  1. Man had horrible years of underperforming, to now having 4 goals scored in the span of 2 games, the latter a Haat trick to tie up a game, then having a game winning, series winning assist to Suter

  2. Heā€™s my fav Canuck. Iā€™ve always felt for that guy and always knew he woul bounce back after all the adversity

  3. As an Oiler fan, it was heartbreaking when his father passed away and his struggles after. Happy his career is back on track. May the best team win! LGO!

  4. Quinn said a couple of years ago that if the canucks wanted to be a good team they would need brock to be playing well and i think that was some of the greatest insight into the canucks of recent years.. hopefully we see brock wear an A at some point…

  5. Fell in love with Boeser during his rookie year and never lost me as a big fan, he is a great human being outside hockey as well.

  6. Ahhh the oilers. The team with 20 starting forwards. The good news is you don't really need a lot of scoring talent to score on them. The bad news is you need at least 5 goals to have a shot at winning.

  7. Super happy for the guy, he had a really tough with all the bs injuries and the loss of his father. When he score that hat trick to tie game 4, that was really special.
Thanks for this video, love the statistic breakdown!

  8. I thought he'd get more playoff goals than Matthews despite being less skilled and he did. Of course Matthews had health problems but it's easy to predict it could happen again next season. It's that big big heart.

  9. Everyone needs to stop assuming teams are out way before playoffs even start, like in this case, assuming Vancouver is out of playoff spot 4 months before playoffs

  10. 1:30 Ahhh… I forgot about that hit. christ. I know it wasn't dirty but MAN was it bad timing. Brockstar had such bad luck early on…

2:25 Whatever happened to the play by play announcer in this sequence? I know he had kind of a lisp but I loved his energy. And when Shorty made the hat trick call the other day, I feel like he was honouring that same call in this sequence.

4:33 I was one of those people who agreed. And not because "I wanted him gone." I just felt that maybe a fresh start, a reset if you will, was the best option for him. And the Canucks could hopefully get something decent in return. I'm so glad that never happened.

  11. i did a typo searching for canucks stuff "cunuck" and came up with your channel

  12. Once you screw your back up, youā€™re done. I was a young strong kid in 1980. My first job, residential roofing. Lifted a bale of shingles, felt a jolt, got really dizzy and felt sick however finished the day. Chronic pain ever since. Doctors canā€™t help. They say, oh itā€™s a soft tissue injury. Just stretch all the time and live with it. I can not IMAGINE what it would be like to have to play hockey at a top level. I immediately feel empathy for anyone with a damaged back cause I know what itā€™s like.

  13. Walking in with a hip check and walking out with back painā€¦bad intro lolšŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

  14. Start by being a Canucks fan for 48 years; I have seen a few games, and good, I am not an NHL scout. I thought Brock was done as Canuck but amazed me this year,
What a fantastic return to the team and making the 2023.24 season his best. Very well-accomplished return this year, Brock Boeser. You are a superstar.

  15. Love to see Brock Boeser succeed in this NHL because he graduated from the same high school as myself. Go Burnsville Blaze!

  16. I been watching hockey since 1976 ,77 I am 55 ,this player is GREAT on the ice and off the ice the perfect combination of a great not good GREAT PERSON AND PLAYER

  17. Sometimes injuries take YEARS to heal with certain injuries never healing 100% at all. He adapted, He rehab'd, He Fought through it. Thank You Minnesota

  18. subscribed…partly because i like your content but mostly because i really appreciate the way you made the point about the 99%-hit-and-run-club without
    a) asking us to like and subscribe BEFORE even seeing the intro. and
    b) for respectfully putting it like you did and not calling out the viewers as the 99%-hit-and-run-club like some kinda asshole would…šŸ¤”
    you're alright man, you're alright,
    keep up the good work.
