As good as Taylor is, he had a very good encompassing special teams unit.

The experts do not like thinking that does not agree with them. You cannot use a 4th round pick in punter they say. You cannot draft QB Penix with the 8th overall pick if you just signed the 36 year old Kirk Cousins who is oft injured and trying to come back from a turn Achilles. To me both picks make sense. With Penix it's called planning for the future and for contingencies. With Taylor I ask if the guy can kick as we see in the highlights, how is this not extremely valuable?

People write off the position far too often, but the punter is one of the few guys on the team that controls where the ball is placed on the field.
When the offense is struggles we'll be thankful we have this guy to keep us in the game.

I can't stand when fans complain about drafting special teams players high. Fields position flat out changes games. Fans complained about Hester being drafted too high back in the day and that worked out pretty well for us.

This gonna help the bears defense so much. They are gonna get a lot of rest cause first off bears offense is gonna be awesome and second off the punter is gonna be pinning teams back at their own 1-5 yard line and will be just trying to get their own punter some room to kick it. That’s gonna happen a bunch of times this season. This gonna be a really fun season to watch finally. Bears don’t have fields which is amazing feeling like finally we can have a pass game to watch and no Nagy or whatever dudes name was last season he sucked at calling plays
