Turned Matheson into Petry and Poehling, a year later both were gone, turned Marino into Ty Smith, Kapanen cost a 1st round pick to acquire and was given away on waivers, lost Tanev for free, McCann was traded for a 7th round pick and Hallander, who went on to play 3 NHL games, recording 0 points

As we should beā¦ maybe Karlsson gets back to >70 this year with Quinn but we should have never been in a place where we had to go after a guy like that. Hextall is the worst thing to ever happen to this franchise

62 points and -24? So he was bad 5v5 which was his issue his whole career. I get plus minus is a misleading stat but I think it tells the story pretty well here. He played a ton of time, the team was bad, got scored on a bunch and missed the playoffs. We didnāt need another offensive focused defenseman with EK. Not sad about losing MM
