I like Mark. His personality on air is a schtick. He's actually a pretty nice guy. He's been wrong from time to time. Who hasn't?
Don’t think tanger gets traded but if it was a request it was not when he needed resigned therefore it happened between when he got signed to now

MM is a douche bag BUT sometimes he is just dead on right.. rob rossi is a giant douche bag and blows smoke up everyones butt to make himself look good. I'd take MM over Rossi any day. As for Tanger, Hell I would trade him to MTL for Arber Xhekaj and either Mike Matheson or Joel Armia but this is all around if Tanger would want to leave, etc

Habs fan here … I don't believe a word of it as we're already stacked with a ton of defense prospects who'll need a roster spot soon.
I have nothing against Letang … on the contrary, he's a great player!
But his age doesn't fit with what the Habs are currently building, he'll be ready to retire when we become competitive again.

Mark Madden actually does have inside intel so I don't doubt the rumor. There's been quite a few instances of him outing things before they actually happened. My guess is Letang is probably frustrated with the direction the team is going, I'm sure he knows they're not gonna be contenders anytime soon.
Penguins should rebuild and
Trade Crosby,Letang,Malkin,Karlsson if they ok with a change.
-Best places for Sid Colorado with MacKinnon. Maybe a team with young guys.

– Malkin idk he would have to make his choice and then team workout deals.
Same with Karlsson they might have to retain.
But if you get 4 1st round picks+ either prospect or current players could flip for picks to rebuild invite guys on PTO?

Letang is 37 years young and he has 4 more years on his contract. Montreal is rebuilding. They don't want someone like Letang no matter how good he is now.
The only thing I can say is that Letang and Karlsson are at odds.

The Nicks are literally starting to suck. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BRING UP ERIK KARLSSON until the sixth minute of the show.
Crosby and Letang were both betrayed by Kyle Dubas. Dubas trades for EK65 and that would be Letangs motive. Sid gets his winger Guentzel traded which is opposite of every decision every GM before Dubas. Sid and Letang don't like Dubas and that is why 87 didn't sign here.
6.1 mil for a 37 year old for 4 more years, way too much. If he wanted to play in montreal he should of signed when he was a free agent, maybe at 50% retained plus a 1st round pick, for David Savard
