Tbh, look what the hype did to Rashford, from scoring 30+ goals to barely 10.. this might happen to Palmer, but fingers crossed!
NO WAY IS NEVER OVERHYPED, HE MOVED AS A KID TO LONDON CHELSEA,A TEAM AND A CLUB IN A MESS. AND THEN HE SCORES 22 GOALS. NEVER OVERHYPED, ITS NOT PHIL FODEN, BRILLIANT LITTLE PLAYER, BUT HE IS PLAYING AT A WINNING SECURE CLUB HES BEEN AT FROM A KID, WHERE PALMER IS UNCHARTERED TERRITORY.

Jordan showing how clueless he can be at times by declaring Foden deserved the award scoring 19 goals in the most settled side with the best manager around yet questions Palmer who had more goals and assists in the most dysfunctional side in the league!
So Palmer does not score on the first game of the season and they already saying he is overhyped …these ppl are not worthy of being on the media, their opinions are overrated.
Audio isnโt great
Watkins deserved it, it shouldnโt matter if donโt play in the sky Big 6 or if your team won the league or Various cups it should be about the individual player.
Watkins scored a lot of goals and got the most assists in the league as a striker.

Palmer reads the game differently from other Chelsea players. He would have gotten an assist if Chelsea was clinical against City. He is just the Hope โค
Make goals and score goals are what generally get the pfa award,yet Kane tops both categories a few seasons ago and doesn't.This is what happens in american sports where if your team doesn't win whatever championship, you don't count.
Foden overrated no doubt
I followed Palmers development in Man City. He really takes the huff and drops performance when things ain't going his way. Yet to see at Chelsea.
Foden so overhyped. Great skills/ shoots but seems to be missing in the decision making to be next level. Alvarez was better.

Totally agree with Danny Murphy, Rodri should've won the Player of the Season this year, BOTH of them. City were a bit up and down last season but Rodri was the player who steadied the ship on numerous occasions……..and this has been continuous for season after season.
The one problem that Palmer and Foden share at International level is called Jude Bellingham……. if Carsley continues what Southgate has started in using Jude in the number 10 role, fitting these 2 in will be difficult. In my opinion, Bellingham should be a bit further back and this gives us the ability to fit Foden and Palmer in their natural positions.
Bit waffly today gentlemen. Palmer scored 22 goals and 11 assists and Foden scored 10 goals and 8 assists. Please tell which number is bigger? Palmer was playing in a poor team with lots of key injured players Foden was not. Palmer had about 60 minutes of play at the Euros and score 1 Goal, one assist and a penalty in the shootout Foden stats were 0 0 & 0 and he played poorly at the Euros. Also Danny you need new specs at the weekend Enzo was player in the number 10 until the subs came on at 60 mins he dropped back into midfield and yes was totally useless as a 10 and to be honest about from occasional flashes Enzo is hopeless. Sell him as well. I like Foden but he not as good as you think and the stats don't lie. Please don't say he took lots of penalties it's not relevant these are still goals that need to scored and he missed none. I feel Palmer is going to improve this year but he needs to be the number 10 full time. I can't wait to see what happens against Wolves, not an easy team but more of a barometer as our players will have more time. Also at the weekend Kovacic was excellent as he was at Chelsea and ran the midfield but no mention of that in the game he supposedly watched! It helps that Chelsea's midfield are average at best. However as a caveat Lavia was very good so dump Enzo and put him with Caicedo.

Over hyped is the right description for Cole Palmer!
Cole Palmer is the first name on the sheet so he will start most games during season.
Palmer wonโt be anywhere near as effective this season as opposition teams will have game plans to cope with him. Part of the hype he generated last season was for his penalties and Chelsea might not get so many this season.
Palmer talks like he looks.
When you place an average player on a team of poor players he appears exceptional. The Cole Palmer riddle solved.

Foden was playing in arguably the Best team in the World surrounded with world class players unlike palmer in a new team playing with average players and still get to dominate the league yet you said heโs been overhyped, he should have won both the Awards,
