Battery? Thats a nope for me
To be specific e-mtb is for people who want to go mtbiking without fitness and training, real hardcore riders is using their own strength to pedal up or hike-a-bike. But if you have alot of money you can buy many bikes.

I don’t understand the whole anti-eMBT stance. Isn’t isn’t the heart of mountain biking about going DOWNHILL and attacking features really fast?
Don’t many riders use shuttles or lifts ? I mean we’re up to 12 speeds with a 50 tooth climbing gear. Why wouldn’t you want the extra boost if the technology was feasible? It doesn’t contribute one bit to descending, it doesn’t improve a riders skill set, and it definitely doesn’t “harm the environment” like a dirt bike. And it sure as heck beats the “walk of shame”! Why wouldn’t you want two to three extra descents in a day by increasing ascent time and conserving energy? ….
Besides MTB culture and bravado, what is the practical or fundamental argument against eMTBs?

Got the 7, what a bike ! Been riding mtb for 20 years , these bikes are obviously expensive but this thing descends like a downhill bike and will climb literally anything with ease.
