As someone whose in Michigan. I love the new wings stadium. However I truly wish they just remodeled the old rink. Way to many memories/history @ JLA. Little Caesars Arena is absolutely beautiful, but will never give me that feeling of success and the standard of redwing hockey like JLA. As far as Buffalo, I wouldn't be opposed to a new rink, however it's not old enough for that and should just update. Idk if any Sabres fans have been to LCA vs JLA in Detroit. Let me know your thoughts. Even JLA reminds me of the "better days" of Buffalo. Miller at MSU and etc. Went to so many games of Michigan vs MSU at the Joe. $20 to sit anywhere you want. Miss those days! LCA is over priced like a mofo for drinks and etc for Detroit.
