At least he’ll have a lot of chances to put pucks in our net…in practice

  2. flepine44

Who is this and why does it look like a mugshot

  3. Riderpride639

Last I saw (somewhere on Socials, can’t remember off the top of my head), was that his agent was reporting he was close to signing a deal rather than taking a PTO (to which Buffalo was already excluded on that list)

  4. burnSMACKER

We do not have the space on the roster for him

  5. Jimbo_Imperador

As long as he fills the right goal w/pucks, sure why not

  6. Logical-Asparagus-60

Having Demidov Caufield and Laine is great but getting a real net filler like Zadina could be huge for the habs

  7. fliegende_Scheisse

I think not. We should play some of the kids to see what they can bring.

  8. sex_panther_by_odeon

He has NHL experience, so he will count as a pro for the exhibition games. That is good enough for me.

  9. Burgergold

That way he can fill our during practice in front of an empty net and then we release him

  10. uknownick

He will finally put pucks into the net, in practice

  11. Longshanks123

His agent said he’s signing a full contract somewhere

  12. Mackee58

How fucking funny would it be if we did this and he somehow pans out better than KK?

  13. Plane-Ad4820

YESSSS. I’ve been calling for this. Sharks fan says he was serviceable and put forth effort. His age fits and he’s a cheap option that has long shot potential. I’m 100% for this

  16. Watch him actually fulfill his potential under Marty. We deserve this timeline after enduring Bergevin for so long.

  17. uncreativeusername31

can someone fill me in on why this is funny?

  18. _Saputawsit_

If he can squeak out a 3rd line winger role and provide a bit of scoring upside with Newhook, I’m all for it.

But it does seem like a bit of a big if…

  19. Finally, can’t wait to say “funky cold Zadina” when he scores

  20. He’s probably a better fit for bottom 6 than ABB. I wouldn’t mind pencilling him in as a 13th forward. Knowing our injury luck he’d get some decent playing time on the 4th line

  21. JustFred24

Why the fuck not? No risk, low to medium reward. Marty can (maybe) fix him

  22. No harm done, really. It’s already been done

  23. huge-whales

MSL gonna be exhausted after giving his One for All thighs to every project player

  24. Prison-Date-Mike

Full my nets bro (during practice).

  25. DWatkinsDaBomb

I don’t see the harm. He either can’t hack it and he’s released, or he shows something and he’s a pleasant surprise and a cheap “veteran” piece.

  26. KeepUpTheFPS

Dudes going to score 15 own goal just to say he filled our nets

  28. greasydrg

Zadina playing chess to eventually play porous defense and “fill our net with pucks”

  29. Foxy_Maitre_Renard

Sure. Then we get back KK and trade for Shane Wright. We’ll call it the “Bitter End”.

  30. sandysanBAR

    Reclamation project n+x

Also his agent said he was working on a contract.

Can we PLEASE stop trying to fix busts based on when they were drafted?

  31. Rustyguts257

Zadina would be much more of a reclamation project than any player taken so far. Given his obvious attitude issue, I don’t think that he would be a good fit even at the league minimum and he would take up one of Montreal’s precious 50 contracts allowed by the league. Perhaps an AHL contract?

  32. This post is misleading. The tweet says he already signed a pto with the Buffalo Sabres and that the Habs had potentially been interested.
