    Jordan Harris sucks, another Bergevin gem, stop fluffing him up. He is so weak in the defensive zone, just scream at him and he gives up the puck in the defensive zone. Physically he drops to the fetal position at every chance, he's just awful I can't believe Kent tricked someone into taking him.

    Is Hage going to be NHL ready in the next two seasons, or is he not going to be a solid NHL player until after Laine's contract is over?

    Hughes made an absolutely great trade if it doesn’t work its just money and a possible 33-40 draft pick , if it does work they get a possible 30-40 goal scorer that will really improver their pp

    Montreal and Columbus win this deal. The Jackets and Patty needed a fresh start. While noth clubs are practically in thr same position, Laine will benefit playing within the Habs' more mobile speedy game with Nick Suzuki and Slafkovsky.
    Columbus gets the contract off their books, and Jordan Harris gives them a left-handed depth defenseman who can do just about anything. Puts me in mind of a Ryan Ellis

    Montreal still has an over amount of top prospects on the D. 2 first rounders next year, the dealing to make a powerhouse is not done yet. Sit back and enjoy habs fans

    I feel like the Canucks should have waited on Podkolzin, sometimes big guys take a few years to develop, Valeri Nichushkin put up similar numbers in his first few years.

    The Ceci trade is pretty much the definition of whatever for the Sharks. I wouldve prefered we see what we have with Emberson, but at the end of the day we got a defenseman to eat minutes and get caved in instead of younger guys and a third for a waiver pick up, so Im not too torn up about it.

    I doubt Emberson will explode to be a Norris Defenseman, but if he does good on Edmonton for seeing his talent for what its. Hopefully he can stay healthy and contribute.

    Unique long range sniper. Does need a supporting group to work, but isn't dead weight even on his own.

    That Laine trade feels to me like a turning point in the Habs' rebuild. I mean, you touched on it, with Demidov and Hage on their way, don't forget Beck, Mesar, Roy on the forward group, and then add to that Mailloux, Reinbacher, Hutson on the back end and finally Jacob Fowler as one of the top goalie prospects in the league. Feels like all the pieces are there right now, somewhere in the pipeline, and all there is left to do is wait for them to come of age. Feels like Laine was the missing link. Feels like the rebuild is now complete! What a time to be a Habs fan!! 🙂 The season can't start soon enough!

    It's crazy that Ceci got an actual return and only cost a 3rd meanwhile Yzerman had to pay a 2nd to dump Walman in San Jose. I agree with your Emberson assessment I think Emerson can do what Ceci was doing in Edmonton maybe be even better (not like it's saying much) but I really liked what I saw from Emberson in his half season on that terrible Sharks team

    Still think it's crazy that Askarov got a better return than Markstrom and Ullmark when he's AHL numbers are nothing special and Nashville had less leverage. I doubt we ever see Askarov reach Ullmark and Markstrom levels when goalies are voodoo I like the bet for SJS just not the price they gave up too much value given the value well established top 10 goalies in the league have
