I might be an outlier here with this thought 💭 but…
I think we’re overreacting and overthinking this QB2 thing. I mean, realistically NO team is safe and secure if their QB1 goes down.
It’s not like Herbert is brittle and damaged goods. The causes of his injuries were because there was no OLine protection and no run game, PLUS Herbert never had a great defense to help him out either — those are all things that we’ve fixed.
Now would it be great peace of mind to KNOW we have a solid QB2? Absolutely. I think EVERY team would love to have a starter-caliber-esque QB2, but that’s not really something that exists amongst the league. If Josh Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, Rodgers, etc. gets injured, THOSE teams aren’t gonna have the same success with their back up QBs.
Do I want stick on the team ? No. But I’m also of the mindset Herbert will be ABSOLUTELY FINE. Again, he didn’t have plantar fasciitis, he had a plantar fascia injury — not quite the same thing; plus he already said he’s 100% again.

McLlellan was dominant in the games he was playing. Sure, with the 2nds and 3rds, but against equal talent level he was better than most. That was a tough injury and a sneaky good up and comer.

Glad Rice and Fehoko both made it. Rice would definitely get snatched, Tre'Mon will but we basically have 4 starters at edge while the WR room isn't as established. Sucks to see Parham go, and even Spiller I rooted for.
Why they cut max duggin
I liked Luis Perez far more than Easton Stick. Something about Perez, being a pocket QB guy who was on point with his deep ball accuracy was very nice to see. Yes, most of them ended up incomplete, but that was not because of Perez, he constantly (for the few plays we got to see) through the ball in perfect position to be caught on those mid to deep passes.

Edge is not A plus. Season hasn’t even started and bosa is already hurt, Mack can’t get a sack against a good team, tuli is good but still raw and Dupree is older but still effective. C+ or B- at best
