  1. Josh, Sam Pollok was a visionary and created a dynasty. IMO, the team of Hughes and Gorton may very well be Pollok reincarnated. I have not been this excited since I was a young lad living in Montreal in the 70's.
    Regards from Scotland.

  2. How old was Mahovlich (Frank, not Peter) when the Habs acquired him? Seems Montreal had a pretty good run after he arrived as a "middle-aged" player…

  3. As a 76 yr old, i 100% feel the same way sir…btw, in 1973 i hitchhiked throughout Europe ,including two days in your beautiful country, hope your country isn’t invaded like we are here in Canada….😣

  4. guys apart from dreaming of having crosby i think montreal should trade for nicola deslauriers !! just to make sure the krieders and other wanna be touch guys think about the fact we got 2 tanks on the team if they wanna intimadate our young core !!!

  5. 25 goals would only be disappointing if Laine was bringing his line mates down…

If he gets 25 but has 40 – 50 assists, his line is cooking does it really matter

He could also get 45 goals and team does not do well…

    What’s more important

Line chemistry, finding a role on a team that is playing well or personal stats?

    I know which I’d prefer

  6. For me for Laine the pts total isn't mesured in numbers.
I would say that under 0.8 pts per game is a disapointment but pretty sure he'll be above that

  7. Eventually 80 percent of the habs lineup will consist of 1st round picks and the others should have been a first round pick 👀 at you Hutson, Roy, Beck :)😅

  8. Thanks – I heard the shout-out on today's podcast. I joined the channel because you guys are so positive and enjoyable to watch. The Laine trade (coupled with the Harris-Walz ticket in the US) made my August. I don't typically watch on a computer where I can chat, but I will try to participate when I can. I really enjoy your channel – Thanks again.

  9. Imagine, MTL has Calgary's first round pick in the next draft. If they finish in the last 5 what a good choice they will have even more + MTL's first round pick.

  10. Will be reading Statsny brothers escape by the Nordiques to get inspiration. Otherwise demindov will be at front line for poutine sooner the. Later

  11. Yepper, Marty for coach of the year,I already said that on another podcast chat,…but got laugh at. 😂lol.

  12. Video idea? Compare Jacob Fowler's and Yevgeni Volokhin's stats and look into who really is the #1 goalie prospect?

  13. If St. Louis wants to win the jack Adam’s all he has to do is get away from man to man def, zone def is so much better that’s why it was banned in the NBA

  14. The team of Hughes & Gorton are astonishing, what they've accomplished in a short period of time has revitalized the fan base, the future looks bright MON AMI.

  15. As A Blue Jackets Fan I wanna throw myself out a window as Cayden Lindstrom still isn't even Skating nor has he signed!! And we Gifted Ya'll a 2nd Pick and Laine!! Ya'll owe us some Future Considerations

  16. Laine if he’s happyin Mtl and his mind get’s back in line, he’s going to be an almost 1 point player for us and this is showing his talent on the PP1

  17. OK Josh. Check this. The only difference on the CBJ roster from last to this year is Monahan in and Laine out. So, Monahan signing $5.5m in Columbus essentially made Laine expendable. Monahan is god-sent for this rebuild.

  18. Wait until HUGHES gets rid of those anchor contracts …and turns them into …meaningful players …Snipers …Bruisers …and 1A goaltenders ..!! Then …we will DOMINATE THIS LEAGUE .!!😂❤😂

  19. IT'S BETTER TO HAVE HIM ON THE SECOND LINE IT WILL GIVE HIM MORE CHANCES TO SCORE AND MAKE BEAUTIFUL PASSES CUZE THE SECOND LINE IS USUALLY NOT AS TALLENTED THEN A FIRST LINE

  20. 1st line should be. Suzuki/Laine/Demidov 2nd line, Dack/Slaf/Caufield. That's something! Pp 1 Suzuki/Laine/Demidov/Slaf/ Hudson.😁

  21. What about Laine on the left and Caufield as the bumper? That would start to look like what Lightning did when Kucherov had the option between one time to Point or Stamkos. Sometimes Point would purposely let it through him and hit Stamkos.

  22. The Habs need help with coaching it's easy to coach rebuilding now they need to teach playoff hockey and how to win with better defensive structure and how to play the tough hockey that wins cups this group of coaches has not so far done this and if they do not start soon they will not be around in a few years
