I know this isn't directly related to the Kraken but the hockey world lost one of its brightest stars. RIP to Johnny and his brother Matthew who were taken from us to soon.
They were both struck and killed last night by a drunk driver, while they were both getting ready for there sister's wedding that was supposed to be today.

My heart is absolutely broken for their family.
So unbelievably heartbreaking. Thinking about his young family and how his kids are going to grow up without him. His poor sister lost both of her brothers the night before her wedding. Fuck drunk driving!

Ugh, I was refreshing Twitter and Reddit all last night hoping it was a terrible sick rumor.
Devastated having the rumor confirmed this morning. Absolutely tragic. My heart aches for the families and friends of both brothers. Just terrible every way you look at it.
It hits especially hard having lost an important person (while cycling) to a drunk semi truck driver. Triggering in a startling way. Be well Kraken family, life is fleeting.
