His record in game 7s is even more ridiculous. 6-2 record, with an astonishing 1.11 GAA and 961 sv%

Recent memory is the Kreider hat trick but Hank in game 7 2014 vs Pitt felt like nothing could get by him. Same could be said his performance game 6 vs habs 1-0 shut out

How did the Kings game 7 not beat Tampa? Also, worst endings for both those games, Yes, but the games themselves weren’t bad until that point. They were actually very exciting. Both those series were nail biters. I don’t know that either qualifies if the question is worst game as opposed to worst ending. There was a game against Chicago about 10 years ago where the Rangers got like 47 penalties called. Spent nearly half the game 5 on 3. They somehow won but the game was miserable. Not sure I agree with that one at all. I mean even them getting blown out by a last place team like San Jose while they were first in the league qualifies more imo.
And maybe it’s recency bias, but the Kreider hatty against Carolina was remarkable. Hanks performance wasn’t just one game so I can’t say that’s accurate to the question. I can’t think of another single handed performance like that to be honest.
