Peristyle Podcast – Catching up with Trojan defensive lineman Braylan Shelby

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka “Triple Double”) are back in studio chatting with sophomore defensive end Braylan Shelby. USC is looking for a significant improvement on defense and Shelby could play a key role, coming off the edge and putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
Last season Shelby played rush end in all 13 games for the Trojans, recording 18 tackles, including 4 for loss, 2 sacks and a fumble recovery.
Ryan and Connor chat with Shelby about his experience playing as a true freshman, his gains during the off-season, working in the new D’Anton Lynn defense, how fall camp is doing and lots more.
The interview with Shelby was conducted in conjunction with House of Victory, an alumni-backed nonprofit collective dedicated to providing a competitive edge in the NIL space for University of Southern California student-athletes.
