I fully agree with you, and also have a large collection. Generally it appears that the newer they are, the crappier they get. And fanatic has shady quality overall.

I'm weird and never get the jersey with a player name and number on it. For the very reason you brought up that most players end up leaving the team eventually or sometimes don't stay more than a year or two. My thought is essentially, players come and go but the team is always my team!
