He is a horrible person though. He had a previous DUI so he is well aware of the consequences of drinking and driving this time he ended up murdering two people because of his actions and when he gets out in a few years he’s going to do it again. He is a terrible person and I hope he dies in prison.
Nobody goes out with the intentions to kill somebody but unless you have an IQ of 62, you can get a $20 Uber to the bar and back as opposed to risking not only your life, but the lives of countless others.

I don’t disagree with him, but that drunk driver caused this pain everyone is feeling. Actions have consequences, so yes he will get our scorn, and his suffering is just. Have we all done bad things? Yes. But my mistakes didn’t end two lives due to my assholish, stupid, and reckless behavior. If he were a good person, he wouldn’t be passing a driver, on the right no less, to speed around them. That is behavior he does whenever the situation presents it, drunk or sober, and it’s a danger every time.
