Hard to say. If the Islanders have another season like last year Iโ€™d have to say Lamoriello is the next gone. But I can see the Jets rehauling everything if they donโ€™t start as hot as they did last year.

I believe the fan base is already against Rob Blake.

    Please let it be RB

(This is also my actual prediction- that we will just miss the playoffs and he gets the can)

Probably Lou, but Blake might be on the hot seat after PLD

Armstrong is retiring and already hired his replacementย

Blake should be the one to go but Lou will retire one day wonโ€™t he?

I’m assuming Armstrong doesn’t count since they have a succession policy already in place.

I could see it being Blake if the Kings don’t stop spinning their wheels soon.

Rob Blake. Teamโ€™s pretty stagnant. Already had a coaching change. Donโ€™t see Lou getting fired in-season, could see it happening to Blake.

Rob Blake is on the hottest of seats surely? Even if they make the playoffs I donโ€™t see a route for them to make much noise in the Pacific

Has to be Blake if the Kings donโ€™t take the next step

I think Doug Armstrong has already started transitioning to Steen as the next GM if i remember correctly from 32 thoughts.

Blake. Armstrong at least won a cup.

Armstrong. I believe steen is coming in next year

  14. The Blues announced earlier in the summer that Doug Armstrong will be replaced as GM by Alex Steen for the 26-27 season.

Blake and Lou are probably on the hot seat

Blake because he definitely doesnโ€™t have any trust from the fans. Lou because the game has passed him by. I know itโ€™s maybe nitpicking but guys donโ€™t want to grind from juniors through the AHL or Coast to get to the military style run team that Lou has. He also doesnโ€™t really make any moves so as for isles fans I can only image how anticlimactic trade deadlines and off seasons are.

Everyone saying Blake and I don’t disagree, but Yzerman is extremely overrated. He still gets talked about like he’s one of the better GM’s in the league, yet he’s been rebuilding for 6 years, if they’re not a good team by this year or maybe next he will be gone. I don’t care how bad the wings were when he took over, an elite gm would be able to make any team good in 8 years
